Beginning of something grand…,
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is the first entry into Playstation’s flagship exclusive franchise. The game is absolutely stunning to this day, and at the time of its release, it was an absolute marvel.
Uncharted is a third person action adventure game, that include elements of hand to hand combat, puzzles, quick time events, shooting, and navigation. Uncharted is without a doubt one of the best told franchises out there, with the combination of cut scenes, clever dialogue, and such vivid characters. It feels like an interactive movie more than anything.
The graphics were, and still are some of the best around. The environments feel real, and the actions and events are so immersive, you can’t help but ride along with the game at every turn. The environments are primarily forests, and old ruins within the forests, but it doesn’t matter; they’re all beautiful anyways.
The game stars Nathan Drake, whom you control, Victor Sullivan, Drake’s mentor, and Elena Fisher, who is just along for the ride. The characters have such well done dialogue and character development, it’s hard not to love the ones you’re supposed to and despise the one’s you should.
My only real gripe in the whole franchise, is it’s notoriously bad camera angles for certain events. But, that’s Uncharted for you…
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is the best way for the best Playstation franchise to begin, and I could not see it being any better. This game, as well as the franchise as a whole, is a must buy for any Playstation owner.

|Awesome exclusive for the PS3,
This game fun and great. It is very interesting bringing you in the shoes of drake in 3rd person view. Has action, fighting, gun play,and is very adventurous. Its graphics are still inferior to uncharted 2 and 3.

|Uncharted is simply the best adventure game on PS3,
Once you start playing with Uncharted game series you got addicted. The characters, story and graphics are amazing! Its like you are in a interactive “Indiana Jones movie”. If you are not a good player you can choose to play the levels on “very easy” mode so you can’t have difficulty. Already got Uncharted 2& 3 and can not wait for the 4th game of the series.
