Good Impression For a First Time Civ Player.,
This was the first game that I played in the Civilization series and i got a good overall impression. It is by far the best turn-based stratagy games i have ever played. The graphics aren’t great but hey, who needs good graphics in a stratagy game. The only problem is the game didn’t come with a manual and the tutorial is awful, but once you get the hang of it Civilization 3 is a great game. i would recomend it to any stratagy gamer.

Okay I paid 5 bucks for a game I’ve played for years. I haven’t liked Civilization 4 and 5 so I keep playing this one. I lost my old copy somewhere last year and decided to get another. I won’t say that you should play what is probably an 8 year-old game by now, but I still like it.
Seems like really good strategy games are few and far between for me.

|Nice game for those who are not hardcore gamers,
I actually purchased this game by mistake, thinking that this was the title for a game was playing 2 few years ago (which was actually Age of Empires). But it worked nicely and I enjoyed it very much since im a reality based/strategy gamer . I got tired of playing it but my kids love it, so who am I to complain? I am actually going to buy the newest version.
